Vattakottai Fort

Vattakottai fort was a beautiful site seeing place on the sea side. Inside fort looks neat and there were few couples making there photoshoot. The place was quiet peaceful and enjoyable unless a sunny day. Outside the fort you can visit the beach but there was no proper way, you need to follow the single track. It is an estuary, so after playing in beach salt water we took bath in the river water streaming into the sea.

The place has also got parking space. From Nagercoil you have to travel around 20kms (12.5 miles) and around 7kms (4.5 miles) from Kanyakumari beach
